Radiation Necrosis Vs Progression in Brain Metastases

A calculator that gives the probability of radiation necrosis in brain metastases after initial response and apparent regrowth is observed at three timepoints after irradiation.

The calculations of this webpage are based on a multivariate model including the primary tumor histology, the fractionation type and the growth exponent obtained in Ocana-Tienda et al. Growth dynamics of brain metastases differentiate radiation necrosis from recurrence.
